Walletts Court Country House Hotel is a lovely hotel with restaurant, spa and pool among its facilities. It could be just right for a truly relaxing weekend and a perfect combination with the Shiatsu Retreat. The hotel is a grade II listed manor and full of character, charm and comfort.

You can combine the weekend Shiatsu Retreat on May 8th and 9th with two nights' B&B and one evening meal at Walletts Court for a total cost of £320 per person, based on two people sharing a room. Single occupancy is £449 per person.

The White Cliffs Hotel is located in the village of St Margaret's-at-Cliffe and is a traditional weatherboarded Kentish Inn, beautifully restored.

Two nights B&B and one evening meal at The White Cliffs Hotel, compbined with the Shiatsu Retreat on 8th and 9th May costs just £254 per person, based on two people sharing. Single occupany is £333 per person.

St Margaret's Bay Holiday Park is a local Park Resorts park with static caravans and hotel accommodation. The Holiday Park has a swimming pool and gym available to use by all guests.

If you are looking for more budget accommodation but would also enjoy the use of an excellent swimming pool and on-site facilities, you may like to stay here. Choose from static caravan accommodation if you are in a small group, or hotel accommodation.

There is plenty of B&B accommodation available locally. Among many charming B&Bs is By the Beach in Deal. As the name suggests, By the Beach B&B is right on the seafront, overlooking the shingle beach at Deal and the English Channel.

Deal is just a 10 minute drive from St Margaret's Bay and Pines Calyx and is an unspoilt, charming and interesting seaside town. There are plenty of great restaurants and lovely walks along the seafront, making Deal an excellent base for a relaxing and soothing weekend retreat.

The village of Kingsdown is just outside Deal and just a few miles across the cliffs from St Margaret's. It's another peaceful, gentle and charming village.

Gardener's Rest is an award-winning B&B in Kingsdown and another recommended place to stay before, during and after a White Cliff Retreat. Gardener's Rest is in a lovely quiet setting on the cliffs at Kingsdown and has a fabulous garden. The hosts are welcoming and very helpful and the accommodation has a Green Tourism award.

if you prefer self-catering accommodation, try The Gulls and Seawatch, on Walmer seafront, next to Deal.
