Our retreats take place in a lovely, unspoilt and largely undiscovered corner of East Kent.
For those who are visiting from London and further afield, a break in East Kent can be a rewarding experience, especially when combined with one of our inspiring retreats!
Deal is a charming seaside town with an evocative history that includes smugglers, miners and Royal Marines. Deal has a thriving and energising cultural scene, theatre, art galleries, two of Henry V111's castles, excellent golf courses, country park and some surprisingly good restaurants.
Sandwich has among the highest concentration of medieval buildings in the UK as well as the Roman castle of Richborough, the beginning of Watling Street. Sandwich Bay sands play host to wind surfers and kiters, sailing and serious bird-watching.
Dover is steeped in history, with its famous castle, white cliffs, hidden wartime tunnels, Roman painted house, Bronze age boat, and impressive harbour.
St Margaret's-at-Cliffe is known as First Light Coast and Country and is a great base for all types of activities including walking, horse-riding, cycling, golf and sea sports.
